Disability Direct – Nottingham
Disability Direct opened up an office in Nottingham in 2010 to support people from the area. Built on the same ethos as DD Derby they also offer an advice and information service as well as services funded by The Big Lottery.
We promote positive change in a non-political and non-campaigning way.
As an organisation we have a strong sense of commitment to empower people to make their own choices and make positive decisions about independent living opportunities.
Disability Direct Nottingham helps disabled people, older people and carers who live in the City of Nottingham by offering the following support:
Welfare Rights Advice
Disability direct offers a welfare rights advice service for people who have questions regarding disability related benefits.
Assistance can also be offered with preparing for benefit appeals and tribunals.
Drop-in visits are welcome but you may find it more helpful to call and book an appointment so you do not make a wasted trip.
