With ongoing welfare rights reforms and frequent changes to the benefits system, we appreciate that accessing the right support can be overwhelming. At Disability Direct our friendly and experienced Welfare Rights Advisors are on hand to help you understand your benefit entitlement and guide you through the application process with compassion, dignity and respect.

Our service is free of charge to all disabled people, older individuals and their carers!

Due to high demand, our service operates on a strict appointment-only basis. To request an appointment, please call us on 01332 299449 or complete our online referral form.

We currently do not offer home visits. However, our office is centrally located in Pride Park, Derby (DE24 8AJ) with ample free parking and accessible disabled bays.

Appointment times vary depending on your needs. We ensure you have plenty of time to complete your forms accurately and thoroughly. Our team will advise you when you book.

Yes. Our premises are fully accessible, with ground floor offices, disabled parking bays, and accessible toilet facilities. Please inform us of any specific needs when booking.

Yes. You’re welcome to bring up to two additional people for support during your appointment.

No. Our service is completely free and available to disabled people across Derbyshire and surrounding areas. If you’re unable to attend your appointment, please let us know so we can offer the slot to someone else.

We have limited capacity to support existing clients at tribunal, subject to availability and terms. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

We will happily provide a BSL interpreter if required!

For language interpretation, this is something that will need to be provided by the attendee.
